Current standings of the top three teams in Formula One
The 2021 season of Formula 1, where viewers have longed for a championship battle for many years, continues with great rivalries and surprises. While Mercedes-AMG Petronas and Red Bull Racing are fighting for the championship, McLaren is trying to consolidate its third place. Within these three teams that make up the top of the grid, different unexpected events are unfolding every day.
Red Bull Racing

Red Bull Racing, which dominated Formula 1 with Sebastian Vettel between 2010 and 2014, aims to return to its heyday with Max Verstappen in 2021. The team, where pilots, engines and cars have been the subject of debate in the past years, is one of the favorite candidates for the championship this year. With Verstappen and experienced driver Sergio Perez performing well, the team is very satisfied with their performance.Speaking about the experienced driver, Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner said: "Sergio Perez has a lot of experience after ten years in Formula 1. I think it will bring us another energy, I hope it will bring us more options from a strategic point of view."
Mercedes-AMG Petronas

The team that marked the turbo hybrid era in Formula 1 has won seven championships in a row so far this year. Winning six of these titles with British driver Lewis Hamilton, the team holds many records in the history of the sport. Mercedes-AMG Petronas, one of the favorites for the championship again this year, looks to be behind Red Bull Racing in the 2021 season. It's been a tough season for Mercedes so far, with Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas' competence being seriously debated in the team.
McLaren

McLaren, one of the most established teams in the sport, is taking firm steps to return to its championship past. The team, which has gone through many stages both financially and morally after a difficult few years, continues to get good results under the leadership of Zak Brown. McLaren, which is in third place ahead of Ferrari with Lando Norris, who is in his third season in Formula 1, gaining points every race, aims to complete the 2021 qualifying in position.

In Formula 1, where a 23-race calendar was created this year after the pandemic, 10 races have been completed so far. After 10 races, Max Verstappen continues to back Red Bull Racing, which leads the standings. On the other hand, experienced pilot Lewis Hamilton is pushing Verstappen very hard. The expected championship battle between Hamilton and Verstappen in the next 13 races is likely to give viewers exciting moments.
