Italian luxury car manufacturer Ferrari has announced that it will introduce its first electric model in 2025. John Elkann, the automaker's chairman, told shareholders that it will introduce this car in 2025.

As companies race each other to launch electric cars, Ferrari is keeping a close eye on the market. Although the luxury car company does not want to rush its transition to electric models, it continues to work to enter the market. At a time when many brands are turning towards electric cars, Ferrari is in the spotlight.

Ferrari made a statement in 2019, in which it also stated that it wanted 60% of its vehicles to be hybrid by 2022. The SF90 Stradale became Ferrari's most powerful car with the hybrid support they offered to this model enthusiasts in 2019. Pairing three electric motors with a V8 with a volume of 4.0 liters, Ferrari achieved a total power of 1,024 hp (753 kW). With a pure electric range of around 21 km, the SF90 Stradale accelerated from 0-100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. And now, luxury and low-production brands such as Ferrari, Aston Martin and Pagani will also be immersing themselves in the EV world. In addition, what we know about Ferrari's first EV is quite limited. However, according to the information, the authorities have already started planning for this electric vehicle within the company. The clearest thing known is that at least one electric vehicle from these brands will be offered to car lovers. Ferrari, as always, will make a big noise.
