"Green Bursa", the capital of the Ottoman Empire and one of the pearls of our country with its natural beauties as well as its cultural heritage.

Bursa stands out as one of the few cities of our country that attracts tourists in all four seasons when those who want to make a weekend getaway from Istanbul and those who come by plane from distant provinces and visit this beautiful city come together. It is usually difficult to "relax" in such a metropolitan city, but when it comes to Bursa, many alternatives that make this possible are waiting for you in the city.

Structures that defy history

Ulu Cami

You can start your trip in the Khan District. Standing since 1492, this inn has been the heart of textiles for centuries. While many local products are sold inside the inn, there are cafes serving roasted coffee and souvenir shops in the courtyard. If you are done here, you can visit Bursa Ulu Cami, another historical place in the center of Bursa. Built in 1400, the mosque is one of the oldest buildings of the free-standing mosque scheme. You can also visit Kozahan, which is very close to Ulu Cami, and breathe the air of the place. Last but not least, you should definitely visit Irgandı, the bridge with a "bazaar", which is very rare in the world, and add a "Florentine" atmosphere to your trip.

Tofas Museum of Anatolian Cars

Tofaş Anadolu Arabaları Müzesi

The first and only Anatolian Car Museum in our country is located in Bursa. Based on the 2600-year-old wheel, vehicles collected from every corner of the country such as horse and ox carts, ox carts, ox carts, old cannon carts, grass and wood carts, paddle wheels, panyos are exhibited, while 8 vehicles produced by Tofaş are also exhibited. Covering 17 thousand square meters, the museum is located in an old silk factory in the Umurbey neighborhood.

If you're hungry

İskender Döner

When you think of Bursa, Iskender comes to mind immediately. There are many ambitious addresses for this unique flavor identified with the city: Mavi Dükkan, Kebapçı İskender Konağı and 1956 Bursa Kebapçısı are among the restaurants you can choose.

Cantık, also known as stuffed minced meat pita, is one of the hidden flavors of Bursa. The city's meatballs and pitas are a must-taste. When it comes to desserts, chestnut candy takes the lead. Milk halva, Kemalpaşa dessert with keşkül and Baghdad dates are among the other must-try desserts.

Cumalıkızık

Cumalıkızık

Cumalıkızık, which is rumored to have taken its name from the fact that it was a village where the villagers came to perform Friday prayers because there was no mosque in the surrounding villages, is home to the most unique examples of traditional Turkish architecture. Its colorful facades, almost entirely made of wood, are so extraordinarily beautiful that you will feel like you are on a movie set.

As you move through the village, you can see many places selling souvenirs. Apart from this, stalls selling organic village products are also among the shopping points you can frequently come across in the village. Other beauties in the village are Cumalıkızık Mosque and Cumalıkızık Bath.

And some blue

Bursa Ulu Cami

Bursa is a city famous not only for its green but also for its blue. The most beautiful point where the city meets the sea is of course Mudanya. The district, which we will definitely recommend you to visit on your way back, is a very pleasant and favorite location both in summer and winter. Mudanya, with its old houses with traditional architecture, cobblestone streets and uniquely beautiful sea, is a rich weekend destination in itself.

Waterfalls

Çataltepe Suuçtu Şelalesi

Each of the waterfalls in Bursa is a natural wonder in itself. Bursa is one of the unique locations where nature appeals to both the eye and the ear with its waterfalls gurgling through the beech trees, flowing through the valleys and cascading on the plateau. Especially Çataltepe Suuçtu Waterfall, Saitabat Waterfall, Alaçam Waterfall and Dokuzlar Waterfall are among the waterfalls you should definitely see.
